Located in the shadow of the mighty Matterhorn,

the chic resort of Zermatt is an unspoiled

sanctuary for skiers, and the

Mont Cervin Palace

is an elegant home away from home. Cars are not

allowed in the town, so guests travel from the

train station by covered horse-drawn carriage, a

foretaste of the hotel’s signature quaint charm

and warm hospitality. The rooms are decorated

in different styles, from rustic Alpine to luxurious

contemporary, but all have stunning views of the

Mischabel mountain chain, the Edelweiss or, of

course, the Matterhorn. After enjoying the 400

kilometres of hiking trails and 350 kilometres of

ski slopes, guests will welcome a retreat to the

1,700 sqmWellness & Spa with outdoor pool and

magnificent mountain views. Three in-house fine

dining restaurants.

The Dolder Grand

The Dolder Grand

is a city resort that beautifully

merges past and future. Perched above Zurich,

the fairy tale-like castle building first served as a

“Curhaus” (a health spa), during the late 19th

century. Today, it honours this history with a

state-of-the-art, 4,000 sqm spa, which is housed

in one of the new wings designed by Lord

Norman Foster. The spa comprises eighteen

treatment rooms, separate areas for ladies and

gentlemen, an aqua zone with views of the

natural surroundings and a medical wellness

centre. The spa programme focuses on spiritual

health as well as pampering treatments. Rooms

are scattered throughout the property, and all are

timelessly decorated with stylish furnishings. The

acclaimed "The Restaurant", headed by

innovative chef Heiko Nieder, has two Michelin

stars. Most striking is the hotel’s art collection

with more than 100 artworks including pieces by

Andy Warhol, Henry Moore and Salvador Dalí.
